Tim snapped that with his phone right before our last song at the Change Machine record release show at the Captain Lawrence Brewery on Saturday night. It was definitely one for the books, and one I'll probably remember my whole life. Thank you so much to everyone who came out, danced, sang, drank, bought stuff, and gave us hugs and high-fives. The support you've shown us over the years - because we know it wasn't just that night - has kept us doing what we do with lots of courage and love.
I want give some extra special thanks to The Obvious and Nightmares For A Week for playing the show with us. Both bands put on absolutely kickass performances. Part of the fun of hosting your own record release show is getting to pick bands you love watching live to open, and these wonderfully talented folks truly delivered. I also want to thank BNK Productions for yet again doing an astonshingly excellent job with the sound, lights, stage setup, and everything else it took to turn that space from an industrial warehouse into a live music venue. Bravo, guys! Finally, I want to express infinite gratitude to the Captain Lawrence Brewing Company for opening their doors on an off night and taking a chance on us and our belated record release party. We hope we got you guys a whole lot of tips!

For physical copies, come pick them up at a show or order it from our Bandcamp page or Amazon through the links above.
We will be celebrating the release of this new album next month with a show at the Captain Lawrence Brewery, our very own hometown craft beer house in Elmsford, NY. The show is on Saturday, October 5th, and it's FREE! Helping us celebrate will be the very awesome bands Nightmares For A Week (Kingston, NY) and The Obvious (Asbury Park NJ). Check out the Facebook event, RSVP, and invite your friends!
We need your help spreading the word about the new record and the record release show on October 5th. Share it on Facebook, tweet it, pin it, instagram it, vine it, blog it, play it for your boss or your grandpa or your cat lady neighbor... just tell people. Show them what excellent taste you have. Prove yourself as a seasoned aficionado of new, up-and-coming music, ahead of the curve, stylishly enthusiastic, yet understated in your expertise.
We're doing some site maintenance at the moment so some things that are normally here may not be for the time being. Our store, for instance, is temporarily down. Be wary when you're clicking around. It might get weird.
We'll be trying to fix what we can from the road. Where do you get one of those hotspot thingies?
While we work on this, you may have trouble loading the feed of our upcoming shows. You can view our tour dates through our Facebook page by clicking the tour dates tab (Bandsintown icon). Additionally, dates appear on our ReverbNation profile. And if you're still like, "What the hell, I can't find the info I need!" tweet us @american_pinup!
We're super excited to (officially) annouce that our new record Change Machine will be released on Altercation Records on September 3rd! Here's a look at the cover art. We'll have information about pre-sales and sneak previews of tracks soon!
